Rules

The Rules at ASE are based on Character. We believe that helping students develop character and become good people of character is just as important as academics. The six pillars of character we focus on are:

TRUSTWORTHINESS: Honor your words.
Students will be trustworthy by demonstrating
honesty, integrity, and reliability.

RESPECT: Golden Rule.
Students will show respect for themselves, teachers,
classmates, and school property by treating others the
way they want to be treated.

RESPONSIBILITY: Your choices shape your chances.
Students will show responsibility by being prepared,
punctual, and productive.

FAIRNESS: Tolerate differences.
Students will demonstrate fairness by being open-minded
and not blaming others carelessly.

CARING: It’s not just a feeling. It’s a behavior.
Students will actively care about the needs and
concerns of others.

CITIZENSHIP: Positively Participate.
Students will be good citizens by knowing and
obeying rules and having a positive impact on their
community.
